Senior Adult Ministry

The Seniors are faithful in church attendance in Sunday School, Morning,& Evening Worship, and Wednesday evening prayer meeting. In addition, some of the Senior's attend a Prayer Group every Tuesday evening at Sarah Girling's home.

The Seniors are faithful in giving to our church budget, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, Mother's Day Offering for the Children's Home, State Missions' Offering and Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. In addition they also give to the benevolence offering.

The Seniors are faithful in daily prayers. A few go to the "Prayer Room" on Sunday mornings, before Sunday School. At invitation time, some of our Seniors do pray with people that need prayer at the altar and some even counsel with people, giving the plan of salvation.

Although some Seniors are able to visit, most do a lot of telephoning and passing out tracts.

Even though we do have a Church Bus Ministry, some of our seniors do pick up people in their cars and take them to church.

Many times, Seniors can be seen helping to serve and clean up at various church dinners.

Also, they take them Christmas Caroling just before Christmas each year. And of course they take them to the Sunday School Christmas Party.
